Aktiia Raises $42 million, Rebrands to Hilo with Hilo.com

Aktiia, a blood pressure intelligence platform, has secured $42 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Earlybird Health and Wellington Partners. The round also welcomed new investors Kfund and naturalX Health Ventures, alongside continued support from Redalpine, Khosla Ventures, Molten Ventures, Translink Capital, and Verve Ventures. This latest round brings the company’s total funding to over $100 million and will accelerate its mission to manage the world’s blood pressure.

Alongside the funding, Aktiia announced a rebrand to Hilo to reflect its global ambition to make cuffless, clinically validated blood pressure monitoring universally accessible and effortless.

For its new identity, the company secured the Exact Brand Match (EBM) domain name Hilo.com. The domain follows a CVCV (consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel) structure, known for its smooth, rhythmic sound that enhances global appeal and ease of pronunciation.
