On the occasion of its 10th anniversary since its Initial Public Offering (IPO), CentralNic Group, the global internet services holding company, has unveiled its rebrand to Team Internet Group. Effective from the 5th September 2023, the company’s shares will be available for trading under the new ticker symbol: “TIG”.
In 2019, CentralNic purchased the online advertising firm Team Internet AG for 48 million. This acquisition inspired the company’s new name.
In an announcement, the group commented on the name change, stating that ‘Team Internet’ “aligns closely with our foundational ethos”. Michael Riedl, CEO of Team Internet, expressed:
Our mindset has always been about working smart, crafting solutions and innovations that we take pride in. And as we progress under the ’Team Internet’ banner, our shared purpose becomes even more pronounced, reinforcing that in unity, we will succeed.
