Founded in 2002, LiveChat Software is a customer service software company. With offices in Wrocław, Poland, and Boston, Massachusetts, LiveChat Software currently serves more than 28,000 paid users in over 150 countries, and since October 2007 runs as a stock company.

The LiveChat software is the company’s main product. It is a live support and helps desk software that businesses use to provide real-time communication with customers via various communication channels such as online chat on the website and within mobile applications, email, and social media.

LiveChat has grown its product portfolio over the years with successful offerings such as Chat Bot, HelpDesk, and Knowledge Base. This year, the company launched The LiveChat Incubator, a program designed to teach participants how to successfully use the technology while also developing a data acquisition strategy to achieve product-market fit and a go-to-market strategy.

On 20th of December, the Company announced that it acquired the premium domain name and is planning a rebrand. The Management Board does not disclose the value of the transaction due to the protection of the Company’s interest, which may negotiate similar agreements in the future.

With this move, LiveChat Software is creating a great opportunity to unify its product portfolio under an exclusive name that clearly carries their mission and vision, allowing them to diversify customer focus from their prime product to the other offerings.

The acquisition of the premium domain name not only demonstrates the company’s ambition to expand their global presence and establish a strong name and position among competitors, but also serves as a branding goldmine.

Short, one-word domain names are highly sought after due to their ability to be easily remembered and branded. Many of these names have the potential to attract thousands of curious visitors each year. This makes them extremely valuable in the digital landscape.
