Newsbridge, a leading AI and video search company, has rebranded to Moments Lab to fully embody its mission of helping organisations build better video content faster.


We’ve come a long way since our company’s beginnings, and we’ve outgrown the name Newsbridge. Changing our name to Moments Lab reflects the innovations we’ve achieved with next-generation AI, the expanding scope of organizations that we’re working with, and the grand ambitions that we have to enhance the world of video storytelling.

The rebrand was also meant to dispel a misconception, as the previous name caused people to associate the company solely with news production.


The name of the company could be better to talk to the market. And we said, ‘Okay, we are not only news, we’re doing lots of different stuff. And we’re not doing just the bridge, we’re helping people to find the real moments they have in their library, in the archive, in the fresh content.

Before the rebrand, the company used the domain Newsbridge.io. While the .io extension is popular among tech startups for its association with “input/output,” it also has limitations. As a country code domain for the British Indian Ocean Territory, it could cause confusion and hinder global brand recognition.

For its new identity, Moments Lab secured its Exact Brand Match (EBM) domain name, MomentsLab.com. This new domain ensures that visitors and potential customers find the correct site, thus reducing confusion and optimising web traffic.
