Robin Weesie, founder and CEO of Exclusive shares his best advice to entrepreneurs who are wondering whether to invest in the perfect domain match for their brand.

What is the story behind Exclusive?

I saw a lot of large Artists, YouTube stars, Instagram influencers and professional content creators with a big reach on their social media channels promoting products for several companies. These creators are constantly looking for the next deal to make some money. Some of those creators have tried to launch their own website or app but even when they have millions of followers it’s almost never really successful. When you are in the internet business, you know how much it costs and how hard it is to build a good platform. It is far too expensive and therefore totally unprofitable to do this for just one artist or creator. However, for some reason, a lot of people still think it’s easy to launch their own app or website and generate revenue. Until they have done this and lost a lot of money.

To create a solution for this, I decided to launch a high-tech platform where leading creators can offer their content and generate recurring income with subscription services. Think about products like early access, exclusive content, private chat sessions, personal video messages, access to Zoom sessions, etc.

When did you start thinking about your brand name and how did you settle on Exclusive?

What was the reason to get the domain name Exclusive.com for your brand?

How has owning Exclusive.com affected your business? Do you own any other domain names?

We are in the pre-release now with Exclusive.com but with my other business on Recharge.com I definitely see the impact of having a triple A domain.

What would you do differently if you were entering your category market as a brand today?

We still have to enter the market with Exclusive.com so maybe I can tell you this in a couple of months.

Why should entrepreneurs value their brand?

Building a brand is expensive. When you start your business on a triple A domain you already won trust and confidence from potential customers. Especially because those domains are so expensive the company behind it must be professional.

What do you do to make sure your marketing is effective?

We will only work with top creators with a large reach. We will help those creators generate maximum revenue from their follower base and boost this with our worldwide campaigns. Because our platform is top-notch the creators are taking advantage of this. Bringing the best domain and platform together with the best creators will be our guarantee for success.

Where do you see your business in the future and how does your brand name fit into that vision?
