CarCare To Go Rebrands to Roda, Reflecting Impressive Growth and a Commitment to Transparency and Trust

In 2020, CarCare To Go set out on a mission to revolutionise the way people care for their vehicles. Founded on the idea that vehicle maintenance should be as convenient as ordering groceries online, the company quickly gained popularity for its innovative approach to car repair services. In September 2023, CarCare To Go announced a rebrand, unveiling its new identity as Roda.


After three years and thousands of satisfied customers, we knew we had set a new industry standard for car care, and that it was time to grow into it. Plus, we had a few folks thinking that “CarCare To Go”  meant we were doing repairs in their driveway as opposed to our flagship service center in Rockville, MD. (We continue to offer our signature valet pick-up and return service for FREE.) As we’re reinventing the way people take care of their cars, we’re reinventing our look too. It’s baked into our tagline: “car repair from anywhere.” Because you can be somewhere fun (or at least productive) instead of a frigid lobby, drinking bitter coffee, waiting for hours only to be surprised with inflated bills and fees that don’t take the value of YOUR time into account.

Roda’s team

The new brand name ”Roda” appears to be a personal name of Greek origin, meaning “rose”. Our recent report highlights the benefits of using a personal name as a brand. Personal names have the ability to build trust, foster a more intimate relationship with customers, and give a brand a distinct character and authenticity.

The rebrand also includes the move to a premium CVCV domain name –  Roda.com. CVCV domains, consisting of short, easy-to-pronounce, and memorable words, have a positive sound, making them universally appealing, transcending language and cultural barriers. Renowned global brands like Nike, Dove, Visa, Sony, Lego, Bose, and Puma have long recognised the power of CVCV domain names in building brand recognition and trust.
