After Outgrowing Its Name, RetargetApp Rebrands to Adwisely and Secures $ 1.5M in Seed Funding

RetargetApp launched in 2015 as a simple solution for Retargeting ads on Facebook. After significant growth, expansion, and the addition of new services, the company announced that it has outgrown its name and is rebranding to Adwisely.

It took us quite a while to choose a new name. We wanted to make sure that it represents all the current and planned app features and shows that we believe in sharing the knowledge and expertise. The new name had to sound good – or even great – for the users, too. This is why we gathered valuable feedback from both loyal and new customers. We chose “Adwisely” – it is simple yet elegant and does its job perfectly well.

Adwisely has invested in the exact brand match domain name – Adwisely.com. A short and memorable .com domain name incomparably optimizes brand recognition online.

The new name seems to match new funding for the company. Adwisely recently raised $1.5 million in Seed Round led by TMT Investments with participation from Gaingels, Mana Ventures, Cabra VC, ICU Ventures, and a group of angel investors, including Wrike’s Andrew Filev, bringing the company’s total funding to $3.9 million. Adwisely is founded by Paul Matvienko in Ukraine, making their achievement even more outstanding given the ongoing war waged by Russia.

We have seen the demand for our platform skyrocket as raising advertising costs put thousands of businesses at risk. The new investment allows us to cater to the needs of even more advertisers as we integrate with more advertising platforms our customers rely on and help diversify their ad streams.
