OmniAI Rebrands to Monumint, Moving from GetOmni.ai to Monumint.com
By Monica Stankova access_time 2 min read

OmniAI, a conversational AI company serving financial institutions, has rebranded to Monumint. The move gives the company a more distinctive identity, stepping away from a name built around “AI” while remaining focused on its mission to help banks, credit unions, and lenders build lasting customer relationships through conversational AI.

The new name is inspired by monuments, structures built to last – strong, foundational and enduring, much like the relationships financial institutions build with their customers.

This is more than a new name. It’s the next chapter of our company.. As financial services enters the era of AI, every customer should still receive a personal, high-touch experience. We believe conversational AI is the foundation that makes that possible. That’s why we’re becoming Monumint.

As artificial intelligence becomes embedded across more products and industries, using “AI” in a brand name can make a company easier to place initially, but also more generic over time. By moving from OmniAI to Monumint, the company is no longer defining its identity around the technology itself. Instead, the new name is built around the value it wants to represent in financial services.

The domain presented a separate issue. Before the rebrand, the company operated on GetOmni.ai, combining an added word with the .ai extension. Domains with extra words can be less intuitive and harder to remember, while the extension adds another potential point of confusion for users who instinctively expect a .com. The .ai extension is the country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Anguilla, a fact many companies overlook, along with the potential branding, security, and scalability risks tied to relying on a country-code extension.

The rebrand to Monumint, together with the acquisition of Monumint.com, resolves both the naming and domain issues, giving the company a stronger and more unified brand presence.
