The list of funded startups in November is out
In November, ten companies were able to secure investments of at least $100 million, making it a month for mega-rounds. The technology, media, and telecommunications sector led the venture capital investment charge, accounting for 42% of the total capital raised. The healthcare and industrial sectors followed closely behind with 18.5% and 10.7%, respectively. We looked at the naming choices of the 604 companies on the list. Check it out here.
The Only Constant in Life is Change (a.k.a. Rebrands!)
The Fawaz Alhokair Group, along with Arabian Centers and Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail Co., announced the launch of Cenomi, a new brand that will bring together all operating companies under one name. Arabian Centers will now be known as Cenomi Centers, while Alhokair Fashion Retail Co. will be called Cenomi Retail. The company has secured CenomiGroup.com and Cenomi.com domains.
The Coingaming Group has rebranded as the Yolo Group to reflect its status as a disruptor across gaming and fintech. The new brand will also help create synergy throughout the group, which comprises Yolo Investments, Yolo Entertainment, Yolo Finance, Yolo Ventures and Yolo Tech and can be found on Yolo.com. Yolo Group CEO Maarja Pärt said the name change better represented the businessâs vision, its people and its future plans.Â
