By Arnaud PETIT access_time 1 min read

What You.com is and what does it do?

You.com is a new search engine, offering to display sources of your choices.

Who founded You.com?

It was founded last year by two former top AI scientists at Salesforce, among them Richard Socher heads the company.

How much has You.com raised?

$20 million for now. Somewhat a low number considering the profiles of the founders, their ambitions, and the identity of the backers.

Who has invested in You.com?

TIME Ventures led the round. Breyer Capital, Sound Ventures, and Day One Ventures also participated.

What domain name does You.com operate on?

Well. You.com actually. The 14th most used word in English. The startup received the domain name from Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff himself, one he has owned for more than two decades, for an undisclosed amount.
