Quilter’s UK investment platform Old Mutual Wealth is an award-winning online investment platform that works alongside thousands of financial advisers to help customers achieve their financial goals. 

The company changed its name to Quilter on Monday 14 June 2021. This rebrand follows the renaming of other companies within the Quilter Group over the past few years.

In June 2018, Quilter separated from Old Mutual with an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and secondary inward listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), and became Quilter plc. The group’s multi-asset investment business rebranded to Quilter Investors while its national financial planning business was renamed Quilter Private Client Advisers.

In 2019, advice network Intrinsic followed as it was rebranded as Quilter Financial Planning. The new name of ‘Quilter Financial Planning’ also replaced the Caerus network brand.

After the advice giant first began migrating advisers onto its new platform in February 2020, initially starting with 8 percent of total platform assets, Old Mutual Wealth finally completed its re-platforming in 2021, saying all advisers had been successfully moved to its new technology.

Quilter has been working to get all brands under the Quilter umbrella, which originates with the group’s discretionary investment management business, Quilter Cheviot.

Our rebrand to Quilter International is a natural next step in our journey and a further opportunity to harness the strength of the Quilter brand.

Old Mutual Wealth used the domain name OldMutualWealth.co.uk before rebranding to Quilter. Luckily, this time they acquired the EBM (Exact Brand Match) domain Quilter.com.

The Quilter investment platform, which has been based in Southampton since 1979, now manages £64.3bn of customer investments as of 31 March 2021.
