What is the story behind TECHVED?
TECHVED emerged in 2007, which is 14 years ago. At that time India was just developing in the digital landscape. The aim to build TECHVED was to digitally empower people. The vision we had was to make people aware of the offerings of the digital world. Customer Experience and User Experience were still not fully known to people in the country at that time.
TECHVED has introduced the benefits of the digital world to businesses and their customers. Understanding the potential of digital transformation and the need of the hour being UX/UI, we put together our knowledge and insight to bring virtually non-existent service in the country.
We have always believed in Design Led Engineering and build digital solutions that are user-centric. We choose to digital drive advancement through design and customer experience. During the initial stage, TECHVED started catering to international clients and got worldwide recognition. The journey has just been upwards since then.
When did you start thinking about your brand name and how did you settle on TECHVED?
We wanted our brand to be well aligned with our vision and mission. TECHVED was ideated to empower the digital world and we wanted our brand name to live up to it. We had to incorporate the entire vision of our organization in a single word. Our business has an aim, an agenda. Hence, the name should commend our business- this was the manner of thinking.
TECHVED is a convergence of ‘Vedas’, the series of four Hindu relics imparting worldly knowledge, and the term ‘technology’; giving the world its fifth much-needed relic of technology, the Veda of technology. As the name says, we are pioneers and we needed something that is aligned with that. Prior to fixing the name for our business, our core team brainstormed and checked it from all perspectives. So yes, it was a thought-through process and we are very happy with our brand name and identity.
How did you get the domain name TECHVED.com for your brand? Why did you select that one exactly?
Once we were certain about the name, it was not difficult to get the domain. We chose to go for ‘TECHVED.com’ as it is the ideal domain and was available with our brand name. “.com” is commonly used and people across the world are familiar with it. Since we knew we were going to work in the global market, this particular domain was appropriate for our brand.

How has owning TECHVED.com affected your business? Do you own any other domain names?
TECHVED.com is our primary domain, but we do have a few others too. This domain is recognized globally and is easy to remember. The domain has our brand name which itself means the Veda of Technology. This makes it easy for people to register this name and relate it with us.
Opting for TECHVED.com has emphatically impacted procure natural traffic for our business too.
Who is your target customer and how is your brand name helping in reaching them?
TECHVED organically works for the B2B service industry. We significantly assist global brands to build and enhance their digital presence and customer experience. Being the pioneers of digital transformation, we have our clientele spread across all domains and sectors worldwide. To be precise, our major clients are businesses in the BFSI, FMCG, Entertainment, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors. We work with Fortune 500+ brands and help them give their customers an amazing experience overall.
Our brand name TECHVED, means the Veda of technology. This is the 5th Veda envisaged by us. As the name says, we are masters in this field and have our expertise in transforming businesses digitally. How do you keep your brand consistent across different channels online and offline?
Keeping brand consistent is the yield of hard work and commitment that we have applied in our services. The mantra is to be invigorated and updated, to keep up brand progression.
We maintain the integrity of our brand by providing the best services in all orders to our clients. This preserves the credibility of our business.
We are thought leaders so we ensure that online and offline activities are held, articles and white papers are published and engagement across all channels, online or offline, are consistent and regular. We have advanced tools to maintain uniformity and consistency across the organization. With streamlined processes and great work models, we as a team are well equipped to boost brand loyalty and maintain consistency across both, online and offline business channels.
Has the pandemic affected your company in any way? What has changed since?
The pandemic has been very unfortunate. It has impacted businesses in ways that many of them are finding it extremely difficult to revive back. If we talk about TECHVED, we too had some roadblocks during the initial stage as this was completely new to all of us. But, since we are digitally empowered and have great tools and services in place, it did not take us much time to adapt to the new normal. The business was offered more opportunities as we are part of the digital industry.
This pandemic marked a boom in the digital industry. Going digital became a need of the hour and all businesses, small or big, wanted their digital presence. TECHVED, being a thought leader and an expert in digital services, had a lot of brands approach us to digitally empower them.
As unfortunate as this pandemic has been for mankind, it has definitely made people realize the power of digital and how important it is to have a digital presence. Online business and superior customer experience have allowed us to write good company digital stories and embark on our global footprints during this pandemic.
What do you do to make sure your marketing is effective?
We at TECHVED Consulting have a very efficient and experienced marketing team that handles all our marketing needs. Our team of experts ensures that our marketing is on point and beneficial for the business.
Our clientele is mostly B2B and hence our marketing strategies are around businesses and their needs. We have an online and offline presence and with our marketing strategies, we try to make our clients aware of new services and products we have to offer.

What would your advice be to entrepreneurs who are just starting, in general, and when it comes to branding and naming?
There are a couple of things newbies should keep in mind; communication and clarity being the most important of them all. They must be truly clear and crisp with their thought. Your brand name ought to be able to connect with your audience. A positive reach is a must, your message should be clear and your brand vision and mission should be well communicated.
It is only when you are able to build a rapport with your audience will your brand prosper. And as far as the brand name is concerned, you should wisely pick a name that speaks for itself, without any explanation. The aim is to be “simple and relatable”!
Where do you see your business in the future and how does your brand name fit into that vision?
The aim to start TECHVED was to digitally empower businesses and make more and more people aware of the benefits of going digital. With digital innovations emerging every day, we further aim at providing businesses with more digital advancements and keeping them up-to-date with technology.
We see a world where technology is blended with digital services to make everyday lives simple and better. Also, keeping the customer experience in the focal point of what we do. From IoT to AI-powered humanized Chatbots, Videobots, and Voicebots we have it all under our umbrella.
