SmartBnB.io Matches Global Ambitions With a Rebrand to Hospitable.com
By Arnaud PETIT access_time 1 min read

Hospitable.com started in 2016, as a tool to help a host in Brussels – one of the founders, Pierre-Camille Hamana, rent out 1 spare bedroom. The company was originally called SmartBnB and operated on the domain name smartbnb.io, the country extension for British Indian Ocean Territory.

Over the next few years the brand has grown into a business that has helped thousands of hosts all over the world rent out over 270,000 listings. The name SmartBnB, even though descriptive enough did not fit the more global and sophisticated audience the startup has captured. The country domain extension also didn’t signal the authority and trust a global brand needs to communicate.

In 2019 the SmartBnB team set out on a mission to rebrand. They needed a name to match their ambitions, avoid any confusion and make their marketing most effective. In April 2021 SmartBnB became Hospitable, with the matching Hospitable.com domain name. With more than 295,000 properties in over 140 countries around the world, partnerships with AirBnB, Booking and Vrbo, a range of new features for hosts, Hospitable is on the way to success.

If you are a property owner and want to make managing your workflow easier, quicker and more centralized, you can find them on Hospitable.com.
