Liam Austin from Entrepreneurs HQ talks about the origin of the brand name, why they picked entrepreneurshq.com as a domain name, and their future plans.

Why Entrepreneurs HQ? What do you do and how does your brand name fit into it?

I’m a lifelong entrepreneur and virtual event strategist. I’ve organized and been the host of over 15 virtual summits and dozens of 90-minute workshops and many more online events.  My brand name Entrepreneurs HQ represents the 400 experts who have taught lessons and educated the 100,000+ business owners inside my programs. I help others to create their own successful events that drive thousands of new leads and clients.

The name “Entrepreneurs HQ” reflects the community headquarters where you will be surrounded by over 400 experts and like-minded entrepreneurs. I like to handpick and gather the best and talented people with a proven record of success to share with my community their strategies, tactics and what’s working for them to grow their business.

What was the process of selecting a brand name like? When did you know this was the one?

Firstly I researched how to create the ideal brand name, brainstormed with my partner, and did plenty of evaluation. I knew it was the one when both my partner and I said it aloud to each other, and instantly felt great about the name. 

What was the reason to get the domain name EntrepreneursHQ.com for your brand?

It is simple, easy to remember and reflects the community I’m building.

How has owning EntrepreneursHQ.com affected your business? Do you own any other domain names?

Owning EntrepreneursHQ.com has been the umbrella brand for my business. It built credibility for my programs, helped me clearly establish my niche and attract a community of entrepreneurs looking to grow their income and impact.

If you could have any domain name in the world would you still pick EntrepreneursHQ.com?

Yes. I want people to know that we have a community of people who are building businesses together, and that we have gathered the top experts on the planet as well as other entrepreneurs at all levels to help them on their journey. My brand and domain helps to accomplish that.

How do you value your brand?

I have paid for it so no one else could use or acquire it. Staying true and being consistent as well, and making sure that my brand only partners up with other reputable brands.

Has the pandemic affected your company in any way? What has changed since?

With the pandemic, people are spending more and more of their time and money online. Our business has always been focused online even before the pandemic, so I could say that our presence has grown since then. We have more people approaching us to help them increase their authority, income and impact, with the quickest and most successful way I’ve found to consistently do that is via virtual events such as workshops and summits.     

What do you do to make sure your marketing is effective?

To make sure that my marketing is effective, I always plan and test my marketing and promotional activities first. Then I keep an eye on those activities and track how they’re performing. If it’s working, we do more of it, if it’s not working we scrap it.

What would your advice be to entrepreneurs who are just starting out, in general, and when it comes to branding and naming?

For those who are just starting out, when it comes to branding and naming, make sure that it is simple and short, relevant to what you do or offer. And research it first and see if the domain is available. 

What is next for Entrepreneurs HQ?

To expand my community so we can help more small businesses, coaches and consultants, to start, grow and scale their business to create predictable income freedom.
