Muzmatch opens a new page with a rebrand to

Backed by Y Combinator S17, Muzmatch is a Muslim dating and marriage app with 6 million users worldwide.

The company has recently rebranded to Muzz, following trademark infringement case loss of Match Group under allegations of unfairly benefiting by use of the descriptive word ‘match’.

Shahzad Younas, CEO and founder of Muzz, shared in an interview that despite the legal loss, the rebranding will benefit the company.

Muzz has invested in the exact brand match domain – simple, short, and easy to remember.
