Obé Fitness raises $15M
By Tsani Gramatikova access_time 1 min read

Obé Finess is a digital workout platform, offering live, on-demand fitness classes and workouts. The company was founded in 2018 by Mark Mullett and Ashley Mills. The name Obé is an acronym for “our body electric”.

Obé saw 80% month-over-month growth during the pandemic as people had to focus on working out at home. “We created some content in a very safe way to satiate the audience, which was meditation content and kids’ content, seniors’ content. Verticals that we were not in that we had thought about being in,” one of the founders said.

The startup operates on the domain name, they have a signature fun, light, colorful image for the brand, with fun photos depicting their target audience (pretty much everyone it seems!) having fun exercising.
